Adriana A (Bootie Mashup)

As the creator of Bootie Mashup, the legendary multi-city mashup party (and livestream Twitch channel), Adriana A has been a tireless torchbearer for genre-clashed culture jamming since 2003. For Neotropolis, this trans femme producer/DJ will be custom-crafting a special retro-futuristic cyberpunk mashup set, grafting pop vocals from the 1980s through the 2020s over synthwave, darkwave, and electro.

DataBaes

D-Syfer-It

I am D-Syfer-It.

I'm a veteran DJ of over 20 years. Here to you entertain you on the dark side of the club. Spinning in the wheelhouse of Dark EDM, Post Punk, EBSM and Goth industrial with just a little bit of tech house and tribal thrown in there. Come out and DSYFER my set for yourself.

OMEGA Danzer

OMEGA Danzer is motivated, influenced and inspirited by the sounds and music of the early 1980's.

Taking a journey into that past and bringing new elements to the future.

Chief Jesta

Expect to hear an evolving soundscape of psychedelic dissonance surrounding the dancefloor in ominous atmospheres, with deep resonance of low bass frequencies rattling your flesh, riding on the momentum of rolling tech funk drum rhythms of deep/minimal drum & bass. Deep, dark, & funky energy will keep you moving for the full duration of Chief Jesta's set.

Other Performers

KLIC-B8

KLIC-B8 is Wasteland & Neo’s very own, self-proclaimed internetz “expert.” In the futuristic cyberpunk future, KLIC-B8 has been immortalized as an interactive training tutorial, ready to help YOU learn how to adapt to the latest technology. KLIC-B8 is an absurdist, monologued comedy act featuring a variety of sideshow stunts. Come to laugh, shout, & see the B8 do stupid things to their own body! (These stunts are real and dangerous, please do not attempt at home.)

Ninja X Machina

Join the uprising and rally to witness the unveiling of Ninja x Machina, a group of cybernetically enhanced shinobi exhibiting their superhuman kinetic prowess. See them at The Core.

RC GLITCH RACE

The RC Glitch Race is coming to NEO! Yes, they'll be lit up with LEDs to be able to race at night. There's still time to get some cyber styling on your RC car and join in. Unlike their RC Death Race at Wasteland Weekend, RC Glitch Race is focused on navigating your modified RC vehicle through a series of fun house-level obstacles while competing for points and the clock!

Find out more in their Facebook group.

LARP quests, cyberpunk cars, Beyblade Tournaments, NIGHTCLUBS, and MUCH more.

LASER TAG

For our laser tag matches, we will be using the RECOIL game system. It's a discontinued product, it still works well, and you can find the blasters on eBay.

We will have a good supply of these to lend out to players (including the Spitfire, Rogue, and even the Frag Grenades) but you are also welcome to bring your own Recoil-compatible blasters.

The great thing about the system is that it uses integrated smart phones for a more advanced experience. (You will need to use your own smartphone while playing.)

At the event, report to the on-site office of our private galactic security forces The Sentinels (you'll see more about them soon) for training, to check in and out your Recoil weapons, and to see game schedules.

GAMING

GAMERS!
Stop in at Neotropolis’s
Retro Gaming Dome!

We have 8 bit, 16bit, and more!

Atari 2600 games? Check! Over 100 of them! Want arcade games? Our emulators are equipped with just about every golden age arcade game ever made!

We even have a special NEO GEO station!

What’s that? You have actual cartridges? Priceless relics of the “blow-it-off and plug-it-in era”? Well bring ‘em! We have a cyberdeck wonder of a machine that can take actual Nintendo classic, SNES, *and* Sega Genesis cartridges! Dogs and cats living together! MASS HYSTERIA!

We even plan to screen-project matches, so you can square off to the adoration and humiliation of the crowd in epic Street Fighter II (and other) battles!

Did someone say Beyblades?…no? Well WE did!! Bring your Beyblades to square off in our custom arena!

The Retro Gaming Dome tent will be open from approximately 1pm to 1am every day and every visitor gets a vintage game token from the Bit Boss! (while supplies last)

And last but not least, we’ll even have a little tabletop gaming for you (bring your own chair)!

In 2022, we welcomed Geek Nation Tours and Osprey Publishing. They brought demos of the cyberpunk-inspired tabletop game of REALITY'S EDGE. Whether you’re a veteran at tabletop miniatures gaming or a fresh-faced newbie off the runner from Nowheresburg, we have you covered.

REALITY’S EDGE ran games running every 15 minutes. They set up cool tabletop terrain (kindly provided by Black Site Terrain), highly detailed miniatures, and taught the rules of the game.
